Specialty Drinks
KnitSip Ravelry group Christmas/Holiday Knitting thread.  Get that chatter going about holiday plans that are in the works or going to be done (hopefully) for the holiday season.

Snuggles Team KnitSip
Sadie, BlueRuin (Ravelry) and podcaster of the Yarnivore podcast every February does a snuggle drive for pets at local animal shelters.  The snuggle lines the crate or cage and gives the aimal something warm and soft to lay on.  Then when the animal goes to their forever home the snuggle comes with them.
This has also turned into a friendly competition between podcasters and this is the first year I will be participating as a team.  So join Team KnitSip with mom (NoniNunes) and I as we knit snuggles for animals in shelters.

Sweet Potato Pie Recipe

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a blender/food processor combine:
3 cups mashed sweet potatoes
1 cup milk
2 eggs
2 cups sugar
1/2 stick butter (melted)
1 Tbl. Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. cardamom
Purée in blender until smooth and then pour into pie shell of your choice. Or you could pour into lightly greased ramekins for a crustless option. Bake in the oven for 45-75 mins depending on your baking option and individual oven.
Let cool and then serve. Enjoy!
Tip: To ensure the sweet potato pie is done insert a clean knife or toothpick into the center of the pie. If the knife or toothpick come out clean then your pie is done cooking. If not cook longer and try again with a new toothpick or knife.
